SAME HOLE. NEW POOL
This one went in in 1994 and had not been touched since. We kept the footprint, took the shell back to gunite, and rebuilt everything above it. Eleven weeks from demo to first swim.
A sound gunite shell can be resurfaced instead of replaced. It saves around forty percent against a new build, and most pools still have one worth keeping.
Demo, plumbing, tile, plaster, decking. You get the schedule before you sign, including which two weeks are the loud ones.

Step 02: Approvals
4 to 8 weeks
Council permits and engineering. We handle the paperwork and tell you exactly where it is.
Step 03: Dig
1 week
Excavation and steel. The loud week. We fence it, we clean up, we keep you posted daily.
Step 04: Build
6 to 8 weeks
Shell, plumbing, tiling, equipment and the surrounds. One crew, one site manager, one number to call.
Step 05: Swim
Day one
Handover, water balance and a walkthrough of every valve. Then the part you paid for.
Most new pools: 14 to 20 weeks from dig to swim. Renovations: 3 to 6 weeks.
